This family is so fun! I’ve photographed some of them before, and was happy to meet the rest for extended family pictures in the backyard. 🙂
I loved that the grown up sister had been working on this Lego circle. So cool, right?! I really want to do one.
I love photographing families with two little boys. These guys reminded me a little of my own. So cute!!!
I am excited to announce these special Mommy and Me Mini Sessions!
When and where? In celebration of Wold Breastfeeding Week, these Mini Sessions will take place during the week of August 1st – August 7th. One group will be in Montclair the morning of Sunday, August 4th. If there is interest, another will be scheduled for early evening on Thursday, August 1st.
What is included? Leave the rest of the family at home, because this is special time for just the two of you! During a 15 minute sweet and intimate photo shoot of one mom and one child, we will capture a little bit of your amazing bond. That look on your face when you watch your little one do something cute. Breastfeeding. Snuggling, hugging, holding hands. Tickling and laughing together. A few of those moments you want to always remember. You will receive 7 professionally edited pictures to love, share, print, and treasure forever. The price is $214 (including NJ sales tax).
What do we wear? I’m scared. Casual and comfortable are good things. Or if you’re fancy, dress that way. Be you. 🙂 Wear colors that look nice together without completely matching, and if you’re planning to have breastfeeding pictures taken, wear something easy to nurse in. Feel free to text or e-mail me pictures of options and I’m happy to let you choose between outfits.
If you are less than comfortable being photographed, talk to me about your insecurities. I probably have them myself. I want you to feel completely comfortable and know that I’m looking out for you. You may not realize how beautiful you look while you’re being a mom. I hope these pictures will show you. ♥

Before I was with them to photograph the birth of their baby girl, I spent some time with this then family of three for pre-baby pictures. We met at a park for some walking and some really nice talking.
There are so many wonderful things I want to write about this family. I think I will save most of them for my blog post about the birth, which I am super excited to share! I’ll just say now that they’re an awesome couple. And you can see how cute and happy their little guy is.
People have told me they’d like to wait until a new baby has arrived for family pictures. Everything changes so much once a new baby joins the family, and I think it’s special to have pictures to help remember what life was like just before the baby. If you have a baby on the way, let’s talk!

You might recognize them from here and here. They’re pretty awesome about getting their pictures taken regularly. They also look at their album all the time and have nice collages and a canvas and a big framed print on the walls of their home, which makes me so happy!
