It was a beautiful day for the Bronx Zoo yesterday. The highlights were playing with Xander in the children’s zoo and then watching him make a new friend!

How cute is this little guy? Gavin is Xander’s second cousin and it was so fun to watch the two of them – with all their similarities and differences – playing together during our trip to Montana. We so wish that his family lived closer to us, so we could spend more time with each other.
My last two sessions were rescheduled and it actually worked out nicely since it gave me lots of Xander time before and after the week of my first business trip since he was born. Time for the Maywood Street Fair and walking to Whole Foods, watching him eat black beans and olives and avocado, hearing him laugh and watching him walk – – – yes, we have a walker!!! We’re looking forward to a trip to the Bronx Zoo next weekend and then his First Birthday Party the following weekend. Can’t believe my little tiny baby is almost a year old.

Sweet little Tory, my sister’s good friend, is all grown up. With a grown up career and a grown up house, a husband and a sweet little girl of their own. Congratulations, Tory and Chad. May you have a beautiful life in your beautiful home with your new little treasure.
These pictures are amazing!!! You are so talented!!! The moments you catch, and the memories you catch…before I know it I’ll be looking back on these pictures and thinking how time has went so quickly and she is so big (like Xander).
