Maegan Dougherty Photography » NJ Birth and Family Photographer

I LOVED this mini session!  I’ve been sitting here trying to figure out which of the images to blog because I LOVE so many of them.  This family was a photographer’s dream.  They ran and tickled and laughed and hugged and were totally natural and fun and loving…not to mention adorable!  And look at what they wore.  Perfect.  I had a wonderful time with them and even told the mom I want to schedule a playdate because I think we should be friends.  🙂

I photographed big brother Nicholas during his first year, and am so happy to be doing the same for his newborn baby sister, Natalie.   I love watching families grow, and I love forming such a special bond with them as their photographer.

Natalie fit so perfectly in her big brother’s lap.

Tomorrow I get to meet newborn Leila, who happens to be Natalie’s cousin and the baby of my cousin!  🙂

The picture of Natalie in Nicholas’s lap is amazing. I love it!

I had fun with these two gorgeous kids and their gorgeous mom.  Don’t you love her curly hair?  I did a lot of chasing them around and somehow ended up with totally spontaneous and emotional pictures that I really love!

They were so sweet with their mom.

Such a cool kid.  We were chatting about favorite colors and stuff and he decided to lie down on the bench.  Great moment!

I really, really love these!!!

Thank you to everyone who joined my Mini Sessions last weekend!  We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day for them.

My first little guy of the the day was Joel, who made his first appearance on my blog a year and a half ago.  Such a cute little man.  After our session, Joel and his parents were going to Touch-a-Truck, which looks totally fun and I’m looking forward to for next year.  I hope they had a good time!

Joel’s mom wins an award for being an awesome e-mailer and Facebook commenter.  Her excited words always make me smile.  And Joel’s dad wins the award for being the best at throwing his kis up in the air.  Check these out!

Why does that top series of pictures somehow remind me of MY family?!

Oh Maegan! I love, love, love them! I wanted to cry when I saw these. I wouldn’t have any pictures of the three of us together if it weren’t for you. Not to mention exactly what I wanted! These pictures are so precious to us I can’t even tell you. YOU ROCK!
When I win the lottery I’m hiring you to photograph my family once a week! Ha! Yep that’s first thing I’m doing with my winnings! Hahahaha!

Here are some more shots from this past weekend.  How sweet is tiny big brother Grant?  Emily started fussing and he gave her pacifier to her!
