My amazing husband spent his day off staining our deck this week.  Not only does is look awesome, but we can now walk on it with bare feet with no fear of splinters!  We haven’t put the grill and furniture back on it yet, so early in the evening yesterday we went out and took advantage of the open space.  Might just have to leave the furniture on the grass!  We bought this super cute blue bamboo truck at Imagination Station when we were in Kalispell at Easter time.  It was Xander’s favorite toy of the day yesterday.  It’s made by Hape Toys and availalble on this great website (http://www.oompa.com/) I just found while googling!

I love these three shots that Paul took.  You can’t tell here because he’s holding onto his truck, but Xander gives the best hugs, with his arms wrapped around our necks.  Before he could walk, I looked forward to the day I would come home from work and he would run to meet me at the door and hug me.  He does that now.  🙂

so cute….and i love his haircut

I have such a great time with extended family sessions.  This one made me want to have three more children so that one day, Paul and I, our kids and grandkids can all get together at our home and have as much fun as these guys did Friday night.  I loved how focused this beautiful family was on simply playing with the kids and enjoying each other’s company.  It was the perfect environment for creating the memories I wanted to capture!

What a great extended family session! I totally know what you mean about wanting to have more so that ONE DAY they can grow up and all get back together for things like this! The pic of mom with her four kids says so much! LOVE the image of the baby’s feet! nice work!So many great images and a beautiful family! nice job!

Thanks for the comment, Andrea! At one point, the grandma was sitting with her all grown up son, and next to them were a mom with a 4 year old son and a mom with a baby son. It makes me teary just thinking about Xander growing up, but it was so special to see moms with sons at different ages and get some reassurance that he’ll always be my baby!

I love this!! What a great shoot!! Such a beautiful family… I may have to book one too!!

I love photographing little ones and it was fun to have a change of pace and shoot older kids for this Mini Session.   Mother and daughter were so cute on the swings together in the picture  I posted on Facebook and the whole family was totally adorable and fun!

Great pics!

The second of my Lombardo Farms Mini Sessions was with this little big sister and her new baby brother.  I love talking to my clients about life with a new baby and it was fun to hear what it’s like to have two under two and to see these young parents able to relax with their babies and smile so much!

BEAUTIFUL Pics!!!

My little baby has a big boy hairstyle now!  We went yesterday to Rita’s Snips for Pips in Ridgewood.  Xander thought his stylist, Ricky, was so funny and entertaining, and we were really impressed with the job he did.  Xander sat in a taxi and had fun steering and playing with keychains.  We were so proud!  We thought we would miss his curls, but with his hair shorter in front, we can see more of his big brown eyes and adorable face.
