Almost four and a half years ago, Trish and Matt trusted me to photograph their wedding. It was my first and I remember it so well. My brides and grooms are extra special to me, and these guys are extra extra special as my first, so I was thrilled to find out they were expecting their first baby. I met baby Autumn at six weeks old and kinda fell in love. Her mama gave her to me to hold and she looked up at me with her perfect baby face and curious eyes. I took so many pictures of her little hands and little feet, and I LOVE the shirt mom was wearing. Perfect for this! Her parents held her for most of the pictures, which is the way I like it, and why would anyone want to put her down, anyway? I sure didn’t.

Fall mini session details will be e-mailed to everyone on the list in the next week or so. If you are interested in a full session in your home before the end of this year, let’s get it scheduled! I still have openings in September, October and November and can’t wait to catch up with some of my wonderful clients, and get to know some new families.

Yesterday I spent a couple hours with this family of three, who is about two months away from the arrival of a new baby girl. I loved my time with them…so comfortable and relaxed and exactly the way I think a family photo shoot should be.

Oh my gosh! We LOVE these Maegan! You’re amazing! Thank you so much! We had such a nice time spending part of our day with you. You made us feel so comfortable we didn’t even notice the camera around your neck!

Joel was still talking about you this morning as he went to play in his playroom! “Mama, remember I played with Maegan yesterday”? Haha!

You caught exactly how we spend our time as a family and I just love it! Perfect! Joel loved looking at the pictures too. He’s sitting over me now asking to see them again!

Happy 5th Birthday to the cute boy in these photos!!! I met this family when this big brother was his little sister’s age. I was so happy to see them again recently when little sister modeled for the Under The Nile Catalog. I hope it’s not so long before I get to see them again!
