I was so looking forward to my mini session with this beautiful family this year. The pictures from their session last year (click here to see!) are some of my favorites ever. Their adorable little girl has also made several appearances in this year’s Under The Nile catalogs and on their website.
Today Xander and Aunt Sara and I went to see our little cousins and their mama. I am really enjoying the fall. I hope it lasts a long time this year!

Xander and I had a really fun time with friends today. We went to a park and the boys ran around and played with sticks, the other mom and I talked and took pictures, and we all enjoyed a beautiful relaxing fall day.
It’s not too late to have some nice fall pictures of your family taken this year! Let me know if you’d like me to squeeze you in during the next two weekends. After that I may be finished for the year (except for newborns), and then I am planning to take January and February off for maternity leave. Yay…it’s getting close to new baby time! 🙂

I met the most wonderful family today. I’ve gotten used to photographing two or three kids at a time, so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect with seven, between the ages of one and sixteen. I couldn’t have enjoyed it more. I absolutely adored every one of the children – all beautiful and smart and fun. Mom and dad seemed super cool, so I wish I had more time to chat with them, but the kids kept me entertained and feeling welcome and loving being a photographer! I hope they will all love the group shots we got for their Christmas cards and the individual portraits that will go on their walls.
