I have been planning to do a morning of Mini Sessions next Saturday, July 28th in Montclair, NJ, and I haven’t gotten around to officially announcing them!  So I do have spots available (10:00 and 11:00 currently) and I would love to either see some of my Mini Session regulars or some families I have yet to meet!

A Mini Session is $500 and includes a relaxed and fun 30 minute photo shoot, an online slideshow and gallery, and a CD with 20 edited portraits (files for printing and for Facebook).  It’s super fun and a great way to get some updated family pictures if you’re not ready for a full session right now.

Contact me (click above or e-mail me at maegandougherty@gmail.com or send me a Facebook message here) to schedule your Mini!  🙂

I met these kids last year when the baby sister was tiny.  Their mom wanted to do a mini session to get some pictures to hang in their family room.  What better place to take the pictures than that room?  Loved watching the kids play together and love each other at home.

Love these, Stef! Great job, as always, Maegan!

I’m working on finishing editing a session tonight and then I’ll be all caught up on editing, after falling way behind when I went back to work after maternity leave.  Soon I’ll catch up on orders, too, and it’s going to feel so good.

Today Xander told me he misses his friends at school and I felt sad for him about that.  But I felt such happiness when cutting his toenails (sounds weird, I know) and then massaging his feet and singing him to sleep.  I missed those things so many nights when he was a baby.  I’m just glad I don’t miss them anymore.

I love how you always capture the moment

My photo shoots with Maxyne and Sadie and their mom have become such a special tradition.  Every year I get to see them around the girls’ Birthday in May.  We started when they were turning one, and this year they turned six.  Can’t believe it.  They were babies and toddler and preschoolers and now they’re big girls.  Beautiful, sweet and loving girls with a wonderful mama.  There’s something about each year that makes the pictures from that year memorable…grandparent’s house, playground, apples, the woods, ice cream parlor…I think this year was my favorite so far.  Wearing white dresses and running and running and laughing and lying in the grass.

Why not start a tradition like this for your family?!

I just can’t say enough of how amazing the pictures you take capture my girls. Love them and thank you for the great friendship over the years even though it is like we live across the country from each other it is great to catch up and chat when we can!
