I love meeting new families who invite me into their cozy homes. For so many of my clients, this is the happiest they’ve ever been.  I love having that in common with them.  It’s even better when we have other things in common like breastfeeding and babywearing and a baby the same age!

I think this next shot is so special and felt so happy when the mama told me it is one of her favorites.

Mom and Dad’s bed continues to be my favorite place to photograph families.  🙂

Loved that this couple celebrated their Fifth Anniversary with a family portrait session.  I of course thought it was a perfect gift and such a special way to spend the day.  They showed their baby girl their wedding album and shared some cake!

I am just about booked for the rest of 2012.  If you’ve been thinking about having a family photo shoot like this one, let’s talk ASAP!

I can’t believe what a big boy this guy is already.  I loved watching him explore, and loved watching his parents adore him.  They all smiled the entire time.

Just before it was too dark for indoor pictures today, I grabbed my camera and took a few of Jasper.

He’s 8 months old now, wants to play with anything he can get his hands on, can’t wait to crawl, watches his big brother and daddy in total awe, and fits so perfectly on my arm next to me in bed.  The other day I wore him in our mei tai for a long time, and when I took him out to nurse him, he gave me the sweetest look and smile that I know meant, “My mom loves me so much.  I’m so lucky to be her baby.”  I can’t get enough of him.

I always want to remember his first two teeth, the wrinkle between his wrists and elbows, and the way he holds my fingers in his tiny/huge baby hands.

Enjoyed seeing him so much.

I still remember how much I loved this family’s first session almost four years ago!  (How is it possible that was almost four years ago?!)  This is what they look like now!

They’re all adorable…..but that sure is one handsome young man in the blue shirt!

Enjoy this summery session with three sisters!  Lots of dresses and headbands and sweetness!  I had such a nice time chatting with the girls, and one of my favorite memories from our shoot is seeing dad walking around with a huge pile of hair bows and headbands.

Here is this family two years ago.  I love watching families grow.

Maegan!!!! I love these. I love the shot of the girls holding hands with mom and dad in the background.and the one with the girls sitting on the couch. Precious.
