Oh, these babies. Such sweet smiles. I was really happy to see this family again. Mom and dad are wonderful and super in love with their babes.
I was there for the birth of their baby girl, an experience for which I will always be grateful, and because of which this family will always be special to me.
Big brother has modeled for me a couple times for Under The Nile. The top picture in this post is him, and one of my favorite pictures ever. 🙂

Testing…
Every year people say how happy they are about the weather getting warmer. I never really cared before we had Xander. Life was good, but it was the same, no matter the weather. And then came my little boys. “Ou-side” was one of Xander’s first words. Jasper points to the door all the time. They can’t get enough of being outside. And I love it too, especially in this in-between weather. Warm and not yet hot.
Last weekend, Xander helped Paul set up our patio furniture and we grilled burgers and chicken and veggies. This is what our evening looked like. Nothing fancy, and these photos are mostly unedited. I want to do more of this…have dinner on our deck, and blog unedited family pictures.
I’m glad I gave the camera to Xander and then to Paul so I could be in a few pictures. I know I will never regret being in pictures, and I would feel sad not having them in the future just because I am not looking my best. I look happy, and I want to remember this time.
I love these next shots. Jasper is such a little meat lover. Actually, he’ll pretty much eat anything. And looks how happy he is playing with his Daddy.
