I loved photographing Connor and Claire’s family twice last year (here and here) and had subscribed to the blog their mom started when the miracle twins were micro-preemies in the NICU. When I read that a tumor was found in Connor’s brain and that he would be starting chemotherapy soon after their second Birthday, I asked if I could come to the Birthday party with my camera.  It was a beautiful event with many of their closest friends and family and lots of smiles.

Their mom, Erin, has been updating her blog regularly with news about their challenges and celebrations. Connor is now finishing his first round of chemo. I asked Erin what we can do to help her family during this time, and they are still figuring that out. They are scared and exhausted and hopeful. I will update this post with any news of ways we can offer time/money/services. In the meantime, please join me in praying, thinking positive thoughts, and sending good energy and vibes and love to Connor and his twin sister and their parents.  And please consider subscribing to Connor & Claire: Our Twinspirations to follow this family’s story.

Beautiful pictures!!!!!!

It felt SO good to have some outdoor time this week. I know it’s okay to play outside when it’s really cold and snowy, but I’m just not that into it. Some of the days this week were warmer, and the boys and I went to Saddle River Park for a walk, played on the playground, walked to Whole Foods, went for a walk around our neighborhood after dark, and had some more playground fun. After lots of indoor time over the past several months, I was kind of like “Oh yeah, we used to spend time outside.”  I’m excited for spring, even though I don’t have anything to wear.

And I do want to remember sweet memories of cozy winter days in our home.

LOVE❤❤

I love taking pictures of families in their living rooms. Snuggling on the couch. Reading together on the floor. Just like they would any other day. The beauty of real life.

I first photographed this family when the big brother was a newborn. Now he’s a smart and handsome big kid and a sweet big brother to his adorable, happy little guy.

This mama blogs about gear, gadgets and goodies for kids at nextkidthing.com.  You can also find her on Facebook and Twitter.

Wow, these are so amazing and so not staged which makes them so much more special.

If feels really good to do some catching up on editing personal pictures.  It snowed today, and looking at these pictures from October makes me excited about warmer weather, being outside more, and  working on our garden.  I want to take better care of it this year!

Gosh, I love these guys.
