Organic Toy Giveaway – Under the Nile

For this past Christmas, Xander’s first, Paul and I decided to shop separately for our gifts for Xander.  This way we both would be surprised and excited, since Xander was more interested in the wrapping paper tubes anyway. 🙂  During a super successful trip to the mall that I was so proud of (I had like 9 bags in 30 minutes), I found a bin of the softest, cutest stuffed fruits and veggies and I fell in love with a little green bean that become a stocking stuffer.  Xander loved it, too…

I took the tag off before giving the bean to Xander, and I kept it to google the company, which I often do when I buy something I like and am not familiar with the brand.  I read about Under the Nile and was totally touched by the 13 Vilages Project, and I sent an e-mail to say how much Xander was enjoying  his bean.

Fast forward to this week when I received a copy of the Under the Nile catalog with one of my pictures on the cover!  This project was such a fun experience and the people at Under the Nile are amazingly sweet and wonderful to work with.   A special thank you to my gorgeous baby models and their fabulous parents!

What better way to celebrate my excitement than a giveaway?!

One lucky blog reader will win an Under the Nile veggie crate!  This is a wooden box (that smells really natural and nice) filled with soft, adorable organic cotton veggies: a mushroom, a tomato, a carrot and, our favorite, the green bean!  These veggies are great for sore teething gums, fun to snuggle with, and easy for crawlers to carry around the house with them.
