Babies aren’t always born the way we hope they will be. C-sections happen and NICU stays happen. Sometimes what is a happy time is also an extremely difficult time. Sometimes that’s the case even when a birth goes exactly as we had hoped.
We take all of these experiences and feelings with us, and we process them, and they are part of our journeys, and of our babies’ stories.
